If you miss the opportunity to find a particular collectible then you are able to return to the island after completing the game in an Exploration mode.If a room has been closed to you or the item does not appear you can try at a different time.If you are engaged in a search or activity in a room you may need to return later. Also some collectibles are only available at certain times or points in the game.Most of the rooms and area of the game will have 1 or possibly more collectibles, but you may not always be able to collect the items immediately.You need to find all 3 of a group to claim the energy boost. The collectibles are arranged into groups of 3 related items.These are listed in the Exploration Collectibles guide Once you find all of the collectible and the game is complete the exploration mode will unlock an extra set of 11 collectibles to find. Some are unusual and will stand out in a location but others will seem like part of the normal scene and can be hard to spot. These items are not part of the hidden object scenes that make up the game but are instead just placed around the locations and rooms that you will visit.
Completing the various collections of items will also let you earn extra energy to use. The Collectibles in Murder By Choice are more than just a fun set of special items to try to locate as you navigate the impressive Mansion and the surrounding island.
